I (heart) my daddy!

I sooooo love my daddy! He is such an amazing guy!! I was going home to rest since I haven't had descent sleep for the last few weeks and just felt the need to go to my parents house to see them and to be with Sierra since they watch her on Tuesdays for me.
I was hanging out with my mom and my dad walks in the room and puts his arm around me and says to my mom, "look at this beauty!" He said it with so much love in his heart and in his voice. I looked up at him and he had tears in his eyes. He says, " I love you so much. You are such a beautiful child of God". He was just so sweet!
I am so lucky to have him as my dad! I'm a lucky girl.

Getting back into the swing of things...

So I'm back at work. I came in this morning and I was so confused! Didn't know what the heck I had to do. LOL It's called total lack of sleep! I can only imagine what Angel and Christian are feeling right about now. It' so worth it, my grandson is so freaking adorable I can eat him up!
I know I was sooooo off when Kent called to tell me about these cute things she was getting for the make n' take night at the store. Ummmm it took me about 10 minutes to get what she was saying. LOL
Anyway, as usual I'm having a busy week.
Monday--I was with Angel. Came home, took a 1 hour nap, got ready, picked up Sierra from school, went back to be with Angel.
Tuesday--I'm back at work making a mess more than anything. I'm meeting with Helen from My Litttle Shoe box to discuss our new lines (EXCITING), and then a class with Erin tonight.
Wednesday--I'll be working and we have a crop until 10pm. Primetime croppers are doing a feast!
Thursday--working and Paul works late so it's my turn to feed the kiddos! Scary!
Friday--Working, make n' take night, and then we are setting up for the BIG EVENT!
Saturday--world revolves around THE BIG EVENT
Sunday--World revolves around THE BIG EVENT

So that's the scoop!!! Did I mention that my grandson is adorable? I just love him to pieces. My little Tanner was so thrilled to take him home. Angel said he was clapping when they put little T in the car seat. I LOVE IT!!!!

Can't wait to scrap pictures of my little baby!

I'm a grandma again!!!

My heart is full today as I think about the newest addition in our family.
Tristan was born on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at 12:13pm.
He was two weeks early and came into this world weighing 7lbs 4oz and 18.5 in long.
He looks just like my other beautiful grandson Tanner, who at first was a little confused about the little person in mommy's arms when he walked into the hospital but then said, "the baby" and reached over to give him a kiss.
Angel went into the dr.' s on Friday and was waiting to hear from her dr. to see if they were still going to induce on Monday. She didn't hear anything on Saturday so she was a little frustrated. Around Saturday night about 9pm she started having contractions that were a lot stronger than the ones that she had been having all week long.
She didn't sleep all night because they were pretty painful. Around 6am she called me to tell me that her contractions were 7 minutes a part so I told her to call the dr.
Right before she could call, the dr. called her to tell her that she needed to be induced...THAT DAY because she was spilling a ton of protein in her urine and to come in...NOW. Angel told her that she was having major contractions. Turns out she didn't have to be induced..because she was already in full blown labor!LOL
We got there around 9am and she was already 5 cm dialated and completed efased. She had Tristan just 3 hours later.
I've been at the hospital up until a few hours ago because I hadn't slept all night. I stayed the night with ANgel and Tristan so that Christian could put Tanner to sleep and be with him while mommy was with baby.
Angel will be at the hospital until tomorrow.
Thank you to everyone that has called and emailed me. I know you are dying to see pictures, so here are some of my favorites. Sorry for the babbling. I totally haven't slept much. LOL (so worth it!)
Great grandma and Great Grandma with Auntie Myrna.

All of these are pictures of Tanner and his baby brother!! I LOVE THESE!!

Feeling LUCKY to have such an amazing family!

I've been very lucky all my life to be raised by two beautiful souls that I can call my parents.
My mom is this sweet woman that has spent her life dedicated to her family. It is the most important thing to her. She is such an amazing example who I have learned so much from.
My dad...OMG, he's freaking my ROCK! There is no man on this earth that can top my daddy!

Since Christian has become part of our family, he is always wanting to do FAMILY things and it's sooooo awesome to see that. He and Angel have this amazing relationship and they are such great parents to Tanner. It's my wish that my grandchildren will feel the same way about them as I feel about my parents.

I love my family so much and this entire week I have wanted to spend as much time with them as I can. My grandson Tanner is about to have his little world change and our goal is to make sure he feels just as important and loved when the baby comes as he feels now.

This Monday is a big day for our family. It's going to grow and I love that!!
More love to go around.

A world of craziness!

I don't know if you have noticed...but I haven't been around much. LOL
Why?
well, Angel is very close to having this baby and is having some complications.
Her blood pressure has been up.
She's having A LOT of contractions.
She now has pre-eclempsia (sp?)
and really bad back problems.
They think she will go into labor by the weekend but if she doesn't, they are inducing on Monday night. So either way, we are going to have a baby with in 4-5 days. I can't wait!!
I'm thrilled to spend time with my TWO grandsons!
I am so excited for Angel and Christian! They are such wonderful people and I love them soooooo much!
Christian is such a great guy and I'm so proud of him. He's an amazing dad and husband! He takes such great care of his family! Angel is an amazing wife and a wonderful mommy. Tanner is such a lucky guy!
I can't wait to take their new family picture that will consist of:
Mom and dad
two boys--Tanner and Tristan
Two dogs--Sugar and Sassy
Have a wonderful week!

Scrapping some more...and more...

I scrapped this page of my niece, Asheigh. She is so darn cute I can't stand it!
I took this picture after she got her braces off. She aged almost instantly.
I'm loving Scenic Route. I used some of the left over scraps from my previous pages.
Love how this came out.
My Little Shoebox news...
I'm soooo excited about the new stuff we are working on. I think everyone will really love it!
I can't wait to get my class started for CHA in January.
Angel news...
She went to the dr.'s and she's showing signs of pre-eclempsia again so the dr. said that they are going to induce her in two weeks, but that they will make the decision on the 4th.
This weekend, I'm teaching my PERFECT POSES class. I'm excited because I haven't taught it in a long time!
I think that's everything. Have a great weekend.

A great weekend!

We had a great weekend!! We had the awesome DEBBY SCHUH here at the store. She taught three amazing classes that had everyone going nuts!! SHE ROCKED IT!!!
On Friday night she hung out with us during the crop. So much fun!! Got to hang out with my girl Erin, who had surgery this morning. She got her gall bladder removed. My poor girl. Anyways, on Saturday Debby taught two of her classes. They were awesome!! That night a lot of us took her to my favorite restaurant, La Fondue.
Sunday morning, Debby taught her third class. SUPER CUTE!! A lot of us went to lunch and then went to Santana Row. It was a blast!!
I went home and spent some time with my beautiful family!!
Today I've been busy all day with Pattie working on the store. We were SUPER DUPER busy and so decided to get everything all pretty and put out all the new stuff. Love me some Pik Paislee and LittleYellow Bicycle!! Yummy!!
I've been praying for Erin and Michelle Tornay's husband, Marshall. He's been in the hospital and is starting dialysis. I have them all in my heart!!!
I got to speak with Helen from My Little Shoebox. We were going over the new line. It ROCKS!! OMG this is soooo my most favorite line ever created! I'm in heaven and can't wait to teach with it at CHA. PARTY!!!
So here's the layout I created on Friday.

Have a fantastic week!

Still scrapping...upates...and more

I did two layouts on Wednesday. I scanned them both but for some reason one of them was being wonky so I had to just take a picture of it.
This first one is of my niece, Ashleigh. Isn't she a freaking cutie? She just go her braces off. She's becoming quite the photographer. I'm so proud of her.
I used the new Bazzill Dotted Swiss with some Scenic Route Papers. Love their stuff.

This is a layout I did of Angel when she was about 7 months preggo. I used more Scenic Route. I can't get enough of this stuff. It's the paper and chipboards.

I got some updates for ya on miss Angel. She and Christian are doing well. They are pretty much prepared for this baby to come.
She's been having a lot of contractions. Her feet and fingers have started swelling this last week so we are having her rest a little more and drinking even more water than she normally does.
She's getting quite uncomfortable. I give it a couple of weeks. She's ready!
My grandson is so freaking adorable!! We keep talking to him about a baby and he does kiss her tummy when she says, "where's the baby?" but I don't think he knows what's going on.
Very soon there will be 2 adults, 2 girlie girl dogs (Sugar and Sassy), and two boys (Tanner and Tristan). This is exciting!!!
Debby Schuh just got here today and will be here at the crop tonight and is teaching three classes this weekend. We are so excited! She has a TON of people in the classes. It's going to be fun! On Sunday after the class, a TON of people are heading out to Santana Row and we are going to have a girls day. It's going to be fu!!!
Hope everyone that is reading this has a great weekend!
Big hugs,
Suzy West

5:21am...

where was I??? Standing in a crazy line in front of the City Hall court house. WHY?
Because I got tickets and completely forgot to appear when I was supposed to and so my licensce was suspended!! DUDE, I'm such a criminal!
I am not sure if you guys head the original story, in case you didn't. here it is.
So okay...I don't read crap and I am a frosted flake so this is what happened. I haven't gotten a ticket in over 100 years so I don't know about court house stuff. I went in to pay it and the clerk said, "don't pay this, instead come to court and maybe they will reduce it."
Me: "Okay when do I come in? What's the date?"
clerk: "there are NO dates until NEXT YEAR" --all due to the abundance of tickets people are getting here. SHHEESSH! Oh yeah that's me too. LOL
ME: " So what do I do?"
clerk: "You need to be here either Tuesday or Thursdays and line up. they will take the first 50 people (now it's 75). You will then go before the judge.

NOTE----------so OMG people line up at freaking 1 am! that's insane. Didn't know that at THAT time.
I went in one day around 6:45-7am and I soooo was given the boot because I wasn't one of the first 75 people.
So here's where it goes bad.
I forgot to go back. Went on different trips. Lost my brain. Forgot.

So bottom line...went yesterday to pay for my tickets. They were going to come out to be over $1,300.00. The clerk says, "Please don't pay this. Instead make a sacrifice and come early and go before the judge." We get into a big conversation about how early.

I go there this morning...early. I'm number 29. I see the judge. I get my licensce back. tickets are reduced a TON . Going to traffic school. Eveything is done.

Thanks to the girls on SIS who chatted with me early in the morning while I was in line next to Pimp daddy and poncho man.

Hugs
Suzy

ps. this was written very fast so it will make less sence than my usual posts. LOL

A layout...yup, I've been scrapping.

I love scrapping about things that I do with my friends.
This one was an easy one that showed off a photo of the four of us and
all I did was use some strips of paper and did my journaling with some of my
favorite pens.
I think the journaling says it all.
The picture was taken by some dude that was next to us. We were lying on the ground
(we were sitting in the lawn area of the concert)
trying to take a picture of us and couldn't stop laughing so I kept getting parts of us.LOL
I love how this picture turned out.

Thanks for looking! :)

Nicole's baby shower

Yesterday I had the pleasure of being part of Nicole's baby shower. It was so nice and all of us had a wonderful time.
Nicole looked absolutely beautiful! Not anyone can pull off a cute little black dress when they are preggo but she sooo did!
These are just a few of my favorite photos of the day.

These are pictures that my little Sierra took of our group! SHE ROCKS!

oh before I forget...Angel corrected me yesterday because I'm so confused, LOL. She's due in exactly 4 weeks!!! WOW!

Easy to create card

I am in a card swap at the store. This month we are ceating Thanksgiving cards. This one was super easy!

Here's how I created it.
First, gather the items your going to need to create your card.

Adhere the paper to the card.

Adhere your strip to the middle of the card.

Adhere your ribbon. I pinched the two ends together and adhered them with a strip of 3L tape.

I added a button and flower with pop dots.

I created my title on my computer. Printed it on light brown cardstock and used pop dots to adhere it to the page.

Super easy!

Her last day...

Today is Angel's last day at work! We've been working together for such a long time and I'm going to miss being with her. She's decided to be a stay at home mom and I'm sooooo proud of her but boy I look forward to seeing her come through those doors and her, "Hi Mom" when she comes in and her "I love you" when she leaves.

So today I'm super emotional! My goal...to not cry today....well after this post.

Here's a layout I did of Angel and Christian last week.

so it seems like forever ago since I posted last. I've been really busy at work and lots going on.
We have quite a few things happening.
*Debby Shuh is coming in a few weeks. We have tons of people attending.
* The Big Event is coming up REALLY SOON! So exciting!!
*We've had several classes here, including an almost all day event with Pattie.

I had the best time with my gal pal Rocio. It's been a dream of hers to attend since she was really young. It's been super exciting for me to attend since the last time I went to see them I was a youngin'!LOL
Anyway, here's a picture of me at the concert.

I'm back from Florida!!

I'm back from beautiful Florida! I had so much fun with my gal pal, Erin!! We arrived on Thursday early morning. We were sooooo tired that we checked in and took a nap until 9am. We then had breakfast and headed out to Magic Kingdom.. I liked it a lot but to be honest, I like DisneyLand more. It looked pretty much the same and set up the same.
Differences...
*No Indiana Jone's ride
*No Mattahorn
*No Nemo Ride
*Pirate of the carribean seemed smaller (no drop)
*It's a small world not as nice

On Friday we got up late, had breakfast, hung out, and then I taught my class at 3pm. It was a lot of fun!
After the class we hung out and watched a movie.
Saturday we went to Animal Kingdom. That place ROCKED!! Loved everything about it!!
We got up back with barely enough time to get a shower and head to the make n' take night.
Sunday we had had a booth like everyone else. We worked from 8:30am-4:30pm. It was really nice. I think Erin was excited because Jennifer came to sit with us. After the show we headed straight to the airport. I got home this morning at around 12:30am. I had to get up at 7am and since we have a time change, I got about 4 hours of sleep!LOL
Anyway, I went to work, picked up Sierr from school, and now I'm heading back to work.
Here are some of my favorite shots from Magical Kingdom.

By the way, I'm so proud of my girl Erin!!! I didn't know she didn't go on rides and she got on EVERYTHING!!! You go girl!!!!

Here are some of my favorite pictures from Animal Kingdom.
