new layouts and a little more

I've been a really busy girl! I know I say that a lot, but it's true. LOL Today I spent the entire day kitting a class that I'm teaching at Ever After Scrapbooks this weekend. It's such a fun project and I'm debuting it there.
I've been gone a lot. Luckily, my last trip was for fun, and I took my little Sierra with me. I'm excited to be taking her on another one next month!!
During my last trip, I created a lot of pages using pictures that I took. You can see some of the pictures in my previous post. Here are the rest of the layouts I did.
Most of these are using Fancy Pants designs. I used the same line to show how you could make each layout look different!
This first one was one that I made for a challenge with Gina. We started the challenge one of the last times I was there. We each have to have three rules. A few of the things we had to do to the layout were: use two pictures, use a template, use a punch and create a banner.

This next one is one I love because of the picture. I love these girls! They are so much fun! I used my glaze pen to write the word FRIENDS.

This one is using an Echo Park line. I had a lot of extras and I used them all to create this layout.

This one I love because of the saying. As soon as I found it I had to use it. I love using these chipboard letters by Maya Road.

thanks for looking. Please feel free to leave me a comment. Have a great day!

It was such a beautiful wedding! The venue was GORGEOUS!
My son wanted to dress up. He looked so handsome! So did my girls!!

Angel and Christian celebrated their anniversary on that day as well!! So awesome!

The boys looked so adorable in matching outfits.

new projects and more!! (picture heavy)

Over the weekend I went to a farewell crop for Patti Snyder. Had a lot of fun with everyone! We didn't stay the whole time because my friend Lisa's husband was making us dinner. He was so sweet to do that and it was so yummy!! We decided to continue to crop and had a lot of fun!!
Love Gina and Lisa!!! I can't believe we didn't take any pictures while we were scrapping.
Here's a project I created over the weekend.

While I was on my trip to Texas I created a TON!!! I don't know what got into me.
Here are the projects.
Pam, owner of Heart Of Texas Studios gave me one of her albums to play with and I made this bad boy!!

Glitz sent me a whole bunch of products to teach with and this is what I did. :)

These projects will be taught at different stores!!! I'm super excited!!!
Thanks for looking!!

A heck of an awesome weekend!

I was just looking at all the pictures from my weekend at Scrapbook N' Such in Texas. Each one puts a smile on my face!!! I met quite a few gals and let me tell you...these gals hold a special place in my heart.
Some of my favorite memories:
*Teaching my classes
*Demos in the middle of the night
*Me and the round table
*Bubble gum game
*Popcorn story (marshmallows)
*My table buddies (Patsy singing with me)
*cha cha slide
*Sue and the boob shot
*Kathy and the gloves
*My roomie Karen Burniston
*the group photo
*the lunch where I discussed the Jodi Arias case
*Kathy and the gloves
and a ton more!!!

The only not good thing...ALLERGIES!!! OMG!! Don't know how I made it. They were the worse they have been in YEARS!!! No joke! I felt bad for my roomie because my allergies were so bad at night, I don't think she could sleep...but other than that...everything else was great!!!!!

Anyways, I can't wait til' November for the next one. I'm thrilled that they have asked me back!! YAY!!!

Here are a group of fun pictures from the event.

You've gotta have some fun!! (picture heavy)

I' home for the next few weeks...I love being with my family and friends so I've planned a lot of fun things but I plan on being at home too. I just got home from spending a day in Sacramento with Gina. Had a lot of fun!!! Started making this canvas. This is a sneak peak.

I'm lucky to go to stores that know how crazy and wild I am and play along with me. I'm certainly not quiet...microphones not needed. LOL

I wanted to post some fun pictures from my last two trips. I visited Scrapbooks with Treasured Memories and Ever After Scrapbooks. Both stores are great!!! It was my first time at TM in Louisiana. Had a blast!! You already know how much I love the girls at EA! Been there many times.

Here are a few from both stores.

These pictures are three of my favorite from TM!!! OMG Can you tell how much fun we had? LOL We totally laughed a lot!!!

This picture was taken at Lazy Lucy!! Had fun with these girls!!!

This next picture were from Ever After Scrapbooks. We had a trunk show, demo day, and classes!

Loved my night with all the girls for Debi's birthday!! Wish Janelly was in this picture!

This is just a fun picture I took after teaching a class at EA. Love knowing that my students got to play!!

Last...love this cart that I bought. It holds so much!! As you can see with my stash of sprays and paints.

Love to create and....WIN a canvas kit!

When I was young I was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. For a long time the answer was teacher or Dr. but in my heart of hearts...I always wanted to be nothing other than a mom. I loved playing with my dolls and every time I saw a baby I wanted to keep it. LOL  As I got older I thought I better go to school to do something because being a mommy wasn't going to pay the bills. LOL I went to school to be a nurse and let me tell you...that didn't last long! LOL I realized early on that I didn't like blood. I also realized that being a teacher wouldn't work because I didn't like to study and do homework let alone get others to do the same. LOL In the end I went to school to learn business management.
Soon after I became a mom , I realized that yes, that's what I wanted to be. I LOVE being a mom. I  love hugging my kids and telling them over and over again how much I love them.
I also came to realize that I LOVE creating. It's been in me for a long time. I come from a family of extremely creative people. My grandma could cook, design, sew, crotchet, etc. My great uncle could also design and do other things. My dad is extremely creative with his hands and has designed beautiful things for my mom.
I love that I have two passions! My kids and designing. I love that both make my life complete.
My last post I said that I found a quote that I totally loved! It's probably my most favorite one in a long time. I feel that it fits me as an individual. I created a project using the quote. Hope you like it.
"She designed a life she loved"
I love working on canvas. For those that have been following my work for a long time know that I've published different books and designed my own canvases for many years.
I also love designing on books!! I mean...I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!
One of my last ones is this one
I'll be teaching this class plus others this weekend at Treasured Memories in Oak Park, Ca. I can't wait!! I have a lot of places that I'm going to be in the next couple months and I'm adding more for the next year. Keep coming back to see where I'll be.
So it's been a while since I did a give away.
For those of you that like the canvas and the book above...
Leave a comment and tell me which project you like and why and the winner will receive a kit!!
You have from now until Monday, October 8th to post.
Thanks for coming to read and check out my blog. I appreciate you leaving a comment.

Deep in the heart of Texas

There have been many times in my life where I've thought, I need to thank my
Heavenly Father for putting wonderful people in my life.

I'm having one of those moments right now. The last few days have been very
special for me for more than one reasons.

As you all know, I love teaching. I love hanging out and meeting new people
everywhere I go. I love listening to their stories and looking at their
pictures. I love seeing their faces when they've completed something that I've
taught. I love hearing the WOWS and YAY when they have learned something new.

This past weekend I got to hang out with amazing girls with amazing stories!
I want to tell you about three girls. Three sisters. I'll try not to get
emotional when I type....ooops too late.

You know how I love and gush about my
family? I'm going to take a moment and gush on others besides my own. :)

Three sisters:

One...the owner of a beautiful scrapbook store.
One that helps to manage the store.
One that helps out her sisters.
They all live pretty close to each other. As I talked to them individually I
learned how much they love each other and how much they felt their sisters did
for them. They are so grateful to have each other.

My heart is so full right now over what I saw, heard, and felt.

Thank you to these three girls....my three beautiful friends.

Tonight when I say my prayers...I'll be thanking my heavenly father for you and your shining
examples.

Here are some pictures of my weekend with them. Can't wait to see them again in October!!

Next stop...CHA!!! Come and see me at the WOW Embossing Powder booth!! It's going to be awesome!!! Then I'm off to Ever After where I'm teaching a fun class and cropping with the girls!!!

Have a great week everyone!
Hugs,
