Travel, teaching, and a new project

Hi everyone!!! It's a beautiful day in northern CA. I am feeling so grateful for the beautiful sky that I saw when I walked out my door this morning. It was also nice to feel the suns rays hitting my shoulders. LOVE!!!
This week I'm grateful for my health. I recently made a decision to work out. I've been out of shape for way too long. I've been amazed at how great I feel after a good work out. I have more energy, I feel good, and I'm motivated to try new things and eat better.
I wanted to show you some fun pictures of one of my last trip. This is a picture of Camille, Elizabeth, and I. We had such a great night!!!
Picture of my display at Ever After Scrapbook Store.
I had such a fun class!!!! Great gals!!!
I'm excited about my next set of classes at Imaginic Scrapbook Store in Puerto Rico!!! We are planning an awesome event!!!
I'm working on another project right now for yet another store!!! Here it is.
Well I think that's all for now. Thanks for coming by!! Please leave me a message. I love to read them!!!

Be happy for others good fortunes

I was having a conversation with my little girl last week. We were talking about some of the toys that she has and some that she wants REALLY REALLY bad that some of her friends have. Her friends got lucky because the toys come in little packages where you can't SEE the items...you find out what you get when you open it. They went to the store together and each one opened a package. To make it more exciting, they took turns.
Friend #1--got a toy she wanted
Friend #2--Got a toy she wanted
Sierra--Got a toy she already had
I looked at Sierra's face and saw how sad she was that she didn't get one that she wanted...the two others got the ones she wanted and needed to complete her collection. At first she had a pouty face and kept looking at the one she received like she wanted to throw it in the garbage. I talked to her about it and told her how we should be happy for others when good things happen to them. We talked about it for a bit and she seemed to feel better. Later on that day I heard her in her room telling someone that she loved them and that she had a special place for them in her room. I walked over to see who she was talking to and it happened to be the little toy that she got.
The other day a friend called me completely upset! She found out that her friend totally betrayed her and almost ruined something really amazing for her.
It made me so sad to think how someone who was supposed to be her friend could be so mean. They didn't like that something good was happening to someone else and went out of her way to ruin it.
So here's my question...why is it so hard for some people to be happy for others?
I asked Sierra why she wasn't happy for her friends at first when they got what she wanted? Her answer to me (the innocence of a child) because I wanted one too.
Sometimes people get what we want. That's just life. Be happy for them. Let only positive thoughts and actions in and out. You will see that good things will happen.
My dad always says, "Invite positivity, and you will feel positive. Invite negativity...negative things will find you.
I believe this with all my heart. I hope that we can feel happy for others. It will help us to feel good about ourselves.
Have a great week!

Remenber this moment-Travel

I love looking at the different pictures that I have from all over the world. It's so fun to see where I've been, whether it's been by myself or with friends and family.
I created this layout while I was at my good friend, Gina's house. Her wonderful husband Frank gave me a notebook and I loved the pages inside, so I decided to use one to create with. The rest of the papers, stickers, and more are by Echo Park.
I had already used the star and the word amazing stickers in another project so I used the negative. I like how it looks.
Thanks for looking!!!

been creating...

It's been a while since I posted,(thank you for all your sweet reminders, LOL)
Since my last post, I've been busy working on several projects for teaching, getting products to stores for their events, and spending time with my beautiful family!!
You might think this is funny...I'm finally writing this blog post...while sitting on an almost three hour train ride home. LOL Since I have some time for myself, I'm using it to get caught up with emails, requests, dt stuff, and more!
I've been in Elk Grove since early Friday. I've been with my soul sister, Gina Lideros. I know I've said it before, but I'll say it again. I love this girl so much and have so much respect for her.
She picked me up at the train station and went to my favorite place...Chick-fil-a!!! We then got home and scrapped our little hearts out! The next day we got up early and drove to Rocklin. Ashley, Julia, Deirdre, Gina, and I scrapped at the amazing Green Tangerines. It was a blast! I gotta give it to them...they have some of the nicest employees, it was so clean, extremely organized, and full of fun products!
I created several projects!!!! Including one book that I'll be teaching at Imaginic in Puerto Rico. It's going to be using WOW Embossing Powder and Simple Stories
Since I got a huge box of My Minds Eye, I thought I'd play with some of that. I LOVE their products!!!
I created more pages that I'll show you later.
So I think that's everything for this post. I'll try to update in a couple of days!! :) Lots of great things happening! I'm quite excited!!!
Have a wonderful day!

creating...outside my little box

It's that time again...CHA is around the corner and I do nothing but create projects...ALL THE TIME! I've been doing a lot of designing with a lot of friends and family and I gotta say it's a lot of fun but by the time we are done...I think there's nothing else I can create. LOL
This is a project that I started on Sunday and finished yesterday. I used the Authentique paper line and the rest are WOW Embossing Powder products. I held all the papers with Helmars.

This next project I'm kinda surprised over....I hadn't planned on making this...but felt inspired!! I found the canvas in my garage and had the rest in my scrap area. I used: WOW Embossing Powders, Shimmerz, Girls Paperie, Sakura Glaze pens, Helmars, and some embellishments.
Thanks for looking everyone!!! I hope you like them.

creating...and family....LOVE!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
I woke up this morning feeling lucky that I'm alive and have a beautiful family that loves me!!!
My Heavenly Father must love me a lot because he's blessed me with three beautiful kids that I absolutely adore!! I love to look at their faces and see a little or a lot of me in them.
I was looking at some pictures on my iphone and these pictures stood out.

Sierra wearing the scarf and head band that her sister made her. She absolutely loves it!

Jeremy joking around with Angel. Her first reaction was to touch his face and give him hugs.

I love them so much and hope they never ever have any doubts.
So I've been in creation mode....
I've been working on these cute little tags that feature my colors that are debuting at CHA! I'm super excited!!! Here's a sneak peak!

Thank you for looking everyone! I wish you all a wonderful NEW YEAR!!! May it be prosperous and full of love!!!
