Punky Love!

I've had some pretty cool opportunities come my way lately! I'm so grateful for them and the people that give them to me!! You know who you are!!

I was recently asked if I would teach at an awesome show called, Great American Scrapbook Convention. They have two shows and we agreed to teach at the one in Texas.

What we didn't know was how fast we had to create projects! LOL Shelly and I pulled some late night designing sessions!! We were texting and calling each other all hours of the night! LOL

I'm really happy about my designs.

I'm teaching two classes--I'm teaching one more than once!

This is my Punky Sprouts, Pink Paislee, and Tattered Angels book.

I got to play with their new QUEEN BEE line! I love this line! It's so pretty!! They have this little booklet of pretty pages. The yellow piece that is on the cover is one of them. It comes with several pages!! I loved playing with those!! Their new alphabets are so cool!! My favorite got to say was their rub-on!! I used them on my canvas page! wow!!

There's a little sneak peek of the inside. The second page has the rub-on on it. It's so pretty!!

The other book I created was with Punky Sprouts, Crate Paper, and Tattered Angels.

I love this book as well!! It's more of clean line bright color book!

The line is called Cottage Collection. This line just POPPED out at me and I had to play with it!

They have these really fun journal stickers that are so easy to play with. The cardstock feel makes them easier and more sturdy to play with.

The texture of the paper is awesome!!! I cut, wrinkled, glimmer mist, and shaped the papers! They also have really great rubon's that worked so well on canvas and the other pages.

Here's what I did with their line.

Their cardstock stickers are so beautiful!!! See that cute little green flower above? Daniela Costa has her own little flower line. You can get them at the Art Life Shop!

Here's a sneak peek of the side pages. I wasn't done when I took this picture but it gives you a sense of what this book is like!!

Everywhere I go, I am always asked..."what pen is that?" It's the black words on the cover of the pages and thru out the book. It's my Sakura Glazed black pen. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this pen!!

Feeling PUNKY!!!!

Alfalfa Sprouts Album

Feeling pretty blessed today!

Why do I feel blessed? Because of this guy right here!

I love my son!! He's so much fun!

When he's around "adults" he sometimes is quiet but honestly, he's one of the silliest kids you will ever meet and he's a huge comedian!!

As a matter of fact, he was voted funniest person in our family in a family meeting we had.

Yes, I know...we do stuff like that. It's when we get together and play around, ask crazy questions like: If you could create your own animal out of two of your favorite animals what would it be? My son's answer: panda and a dolphin...it's a dolphanda!!

anyways, Jeremy and I plan date nights. We talk about the craziest stuff!!!

Jeremy has always been my most easy child. He's so low maintenance and for the longest time, never asked for ANYTHING! Seriously!

Everyday I love when he comes home and immediately comes and looks for me!! I always get a kiss and a hi mom!!

I just love this kid. When I saw him come through the door today I felt pretty blessed!!!

Carlos + Jazzy = true love!

I'm going to start out by being honest. When I first met Jazzy I wasn't a big fan of hers. She was quiet and always in Carlos's room and I felt as if she didn't fit in with our family.

Let me tell you, getting to know this girl has been such a sweet thing for me. I have come to absolutely love her!!! She's probably the best thing that has ever happened to my brother.

Oh crap, getting emotional again. LOL It's true though. I love this girl and would LOVE for her and Carlos to get married!(hint hint already people).

The way she is with my brother is so awesome. Half the time I need to tell them to get a room, LOL but really, they are adorable!! Carlos loves her! I have never seen him like this before.

So get married already and have some kids!! You know I want more babies in the family!!

Art Life Event

Yesterday I attended the ART LIFE EVENT at Scrapbook Territory with my friend Shelly Berg. It was such a fun event! We got to make different projects, eat yummy snacks, and scrap with awesome people!!

Daniela Costa put the event together and let me tell you, if you are in the area you need to sign up. She did a great job and we had a blast!!! She had prizes (I won a Art Life canvas tote). It's so pretty!!

My favorite part was making my necklace. It's so pertifuls!!

A night with Jay Sario from Project Runway!!

Make it work!

(if you watch the show, you know what this means. LOL)

Every Thursday night you will find me in front of my television texting back and forth with Angel over the show Project Runway. We love seeing all the beautiful outfits created by the designers.

Two days ago I was invited by Jay Sario, one of my favorites from Project Runway to attend his viewing party!! It was in San Francisco in the Castro District!!

When I told Angel about it, the girl went nuts because she's a fashion major at the Academy of Art in San Francisco and she loves Jay!!

So I invited her and my brother Julio to come with me.

It was so much fun!!! We had a great time hanging out with him and watching the episode! If you watched the show last night you know...HE won immunity!! His outfit was awesome!

Jay is such a fun person and super creative!! We look forward to seeing all the wonderful things he does for the rest of the show and what he's working on in the future off the show!! I know it's going to be awesome!!

Happy 21st birthday ANGEL!!!

When your kids are little you always joke around about how your kids are going to be when they grow up. I remember doing that a lot. Today was a huge eye opener...my baby is seriously grown up. Well actually she's been grown up for a while but she's grown up grown up now that she's 21.

Her dad and I invited her to go to lunch today and as she parked her car and got out, my heart skipped a beat as I remembered the day she was born.

I surprised her by bringing scrapbooks of when she was younger.

She laughed and smiled as she recalled those moments.

Angel has brought me so much joy. She was always such a good baby and as she got older I saw that I was going to be in big trouble. She started getting more beautiful everyday.

She's always been beautiful on the outside but it's the beauty within that I'm so proud of.

She's not only a great wife but an amazing mother and I love her more than words can say.

She and I have always done a lot together and I treasure all our girl time. She's not only my daughter, she's my best friend.

Angel I love you so much!!

A special bond...

I love these pictures of Sierra and my cousin Myrna!! Not just because they are so cute but because of the special bond that the two of them share. I get teary eyed just thinking about it. These pictures bring back memories of when I was little. She treated me the same way. I have a ton of pictures of the two of us looking the same!!

I love that they are close and that Sierra looks forward to her visits with her.

I am close to Myrna now as I was then and I love her like a second mother.

I am so grateful for all the love that you have shown me through the years. All my memories of you are good ones and I will always cherish our time together! Thank you for being the same way with my kids. I love you!!

Trying to be creative!

The last few weeks have been really awesome!!! I've had so many wonderful opportunities come my way. It's been fun being able to create with such awesome products! I'm loving all the fun toys!

Normally, I'm not in such a creative mood and now I don't want to stop!! I have three classes scheduled at my favorite scrapbook store, Scrapbook Territory!! So if you are in the area and want to be spoiled, sign up to take a class!!

Next week I'll be at the store to get my craft on again. On Saturday Daniela Costa is having this awesome event called, The Art Life Crop and Mini workshop!! It's going to be so much fun!!

It's been forever...but I'm going to try to keep this thing up!!

scI'M SORRY!!! I have not posted on this thing in forever ago!! I totally forgot about it until a friend asked me if I had a blog. LOL I laughed and said, "kinda". LOL

okay so you know me, I have tried several times to keep it up but this time I'll try more. You guys gotta help me though...if I know you are reading it I will keep it up. If no one is reading then I'm just talking to myself. LOL

So I've been really busy lately. I just got back from CHA. it was a lot of fun!!! I got to see a lot of friends and meet a lot of new ones. I taught a class while I was there and it was awesome!! So many cool people!! Here are some pictures from my class.

I got to create some awesome projects using three different lines. Here are some of the projects.

I also got to play with Hambly's new products!!! Here are some of the projects I created.

I am excited that I will be teaching at some awesome places this year. I will also be teaching for Bella Blvd. besides My Little Shoebox!! I'm so excited because I love their products!!

I'm also on the new Punky Sprouts design team!! YAY! love them!!

Spending time with my family!!

I am feeling so lucky lately to have the opportunity to spend a lot of time with my family. It's time that I haven't had for a long time and I don't want to take it for granted.
Today I picked up my mom (LOVE being with my best friend) and we headed out to do errands together. It was so nice. I can tell my mom is so happy because we are together.
Besides running the boring errands, we made it over to Ikea. I wanted to pick up more hangers that I love a lot. I fixed my closet and all my pants are hanging from these hangers.

I know it's kinda crazy, but I'm re-doing everything. As a matter of fact, I picked up paint today and together with Sierra we decided to paint the cabinets in the bathroom.
What we didn't know? ummmm you gotta prime first. LOL so I have not the slightest of what I should do now. LOL Christian said to prime on top. we'll see. It's a little scary looking. LOL
Hey but we had fun!! LOL

Tomorrow I am going to babysit my little grandsons and then I'm off to see Nickelback with the girls. I'm going early with Angel so I can get us good seats. If we can get seats like we did for No Doubt, we'll be good!

The kids start school this Wednesday and they are getting pretty excited!!!
I bought a ton of clothes for them today. They came home pretty happy!!
Jeremy got a ton of stuff at Zumiez, Vans, and Anchor blue.

Back from an amazing trip in Southern Ca!!

I should be sleeping, LOL but I have a lot of friends that have asked me to post pictures of my fantastic trip!!! We left on Sunday morning (very early) and drove to San Diego.
A lot of us got together at the one and only Erin Payne's house.

We had an awesome night!! Laughed, laughed, and laughed!!! Right before we left, the girls mentioned a VIP party at Ever After on Friday night, (5 days later) and I convinced Paul to let me go and I had a freakin' blast!!! I didn't have a camera with me that night but I KNOW there are a lot of pictures of some craziness! LOL I'm happy to say that I will be BACK to Ever After in October!!!! "HOOT HOOT!!!"

Okay on to day TWO
SEA WORLD
Seriously, I gotta say that I had an amazing time!! We walked in and a few minutes later a man comes over to me and asks if I could have a moment of his time. Short story....we were picked as the VIP family and we were SPOILED the entire day!!!!
We got our pictures taken and they printed some for us for FREE!
We got VIP seating everywhere.
We got to play with the stingray and feed them
we got a private tour
discounts and free goodies
and then got to play with the dolphins!!

Day three and four
Disneyland and California Adventures
We checked into another hotel and it was so nice!! The food was good and we enjoyed our time there. We were super close to the park.
It was super fun!!! We got in that morning and I was approached by this gentleman. He asked me if he could ask me some questions because they were doing a survey and they would give me $100.00 cash! I said sure, and it paid for two of our meals. LOL
We got on a ton of rides and saw different shows. Sierra was even picked to be in the High School Musical show. She had a blast!! She got on the Tower of Terror!! We all LOVED Space Mountain.

Day five
We hung out all morning and swam and relaxed! (MUCH NEEDED) and then headed over to Medieval Times. If you have never been there, you gotta go. It's a lot of fun!!!
Sierra and Jeremy enjoyed themselves so much!!!
We ate like mad people and enjoyed the show. I enjoyed it so much, I decided I didn't want to be behind a camera. I just ate and hung out.

Day 6
We checked into an amazing resort!
We got tickets from my friends Heather and Ghia (whom I love with a passion) to go to Animal park (it's the sister park to the San Diego Zoo). It was a great park but it was BLAZING hot!!! I'm talking 110 degrees!! SERIOUS!!! We did not last long! If it wasn't so hot we would have stayed longer because that place was FUN!!!

So after the park, we decided to go swimming. the pool was amazing and the kids had a blast!!
I left to get ready some time later. The kids stayed with Paul.

Loved all the girls there! The dancing, the snacks, the store, the bathroom, the floors, the walls, (Okay you get the picture. Love the store). LOL
Got home after midnight and the kids and Paul were out cold on ONE bed. LOL

Day 7--heading home
The next morning we got up early. Had breakfast and took off. Went the 101 route and went thru Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and stopped at Solvang. It was blazing hot but it was nice! They had a car show that day and we got some yummy chocolate.
We got home around 10ish and got everything out and flew into my bead!!

Okay that's the story....if you read the whole thing...wow, you are kind!LOL
