I was excited to create again with Crate Paper. The combination of Crate Paper with Punky Sprouts is awesome!!! The stickers are SRM.

This is a book that I created to teach in Chicago while I'm there!!!

Love At Home

Last week I took Sierra to Color Me Mine. It's a WONDERFUL place that you can paint and decorate ceramic pieces. When you are done they fire them in their kiln. Once they are done they are so beautiful and shiny!

I looked through many different pieces and as soon as i saw this one I knew that was the one I wanted to decorate.

After I painted it, I thought about what I wanted to write to make it more personal.

Immediately I thought of the words, love at home. It's what I always want to feel when I'm in my house. This is what I am striving for, to always feel love here.

It's not always possible to feel this but I know that if we put our family first and always try to choose the right our home will be filled with abundance of love.

I hope that YOUR home is filled with love too!

what's in the name???

I'm excited about new products debuting at CHA!!

Part of the creating process...come up with names for these products.

Shelly and I have had a field day trying to come up with some. I like everything that I do to have a name that feels personal. Well since I'm a pretty wild and crazy gal the names I'm come up with are a little crazy. LOL

We are down to TWO names for one of the books.

I'm excited to show you the sneak peak for another book!!!

The name of this book is called Spunky Sprout.

It was so fun designing with this book!!!

When your baby is sick

There is nothing worse than when your baby is sick. You can't sleep, you can't eat, you can't think, you can't do anything but feel sick yourself at the thought of anything hurting your little one. That's how we felt when Sierra started getting sick all of a sudden a couple of days ago.

She was on her bed and I saw that her chest was contracting. It made me really nervous. She was very short of breath and was yellow and because of her medical condition, Hereditary spherocytosis and gilbert's we can't take any chances.

I told Paul that she needed to go to the hospital and he looked at her and agreed. We went in Tuesday and didn't leave until Wednesday evening.

When we got there she couldn't complete a sentence with out needing to try to take a breath and felt horrible. After all the treatments, meds, and lots of love we started seeing a huge improvement.

This was her the next day already starting to get a little better.

After more meds and rest...

When the nurse asked her if she wanted to do some crafts she was so excited!!

The nurse told me that Sierra told her that she loved doing crafts and that she got her creativity from me. SO SWEET!!!

The nurse asked her what she got from her dad...jokingly she said, " hereditary spherocytosis and asthma". It's true. LOL

We would like to thank everyone for their prayers and blessings!!! I believe that it's because of this that she was able to heal so fast!!!

She asked me to thank you and tell you that she loves you all!!!

Great things are happening, CHA and more!

CHA is just around the corner and great things are happening!!
I'm going to be teaching the Bella Blvd./Punky Sprouts class on Tuesday, July 27th. It's going to be really awesome! We'll be creating a really fun mixed medium project and playing with all kinds of fun products!

I'll be teaching my new books for the first time at Creative Cuts and Crafts in Chicago!! So make sure to sign up when the classes go up! They will take place BEFORE the show!

Tomorrow I get to play with the products that I designed!

I'm working on the NAMES! I have been thinking about them a lot! Shelly has too. She knows me very well and has come up with some good ones.

I was looking at this picture and was thinking...what name would fit great in here?

It needs to be something personal or something that represents me well. The word crazy keeps coming to mind but I don't think that would work well. LOL

Anyways, I look forward to seeing those going there!!!

Pictures that make me happy!!!

This last week has been a very busy one for me! It's been filled with lots of events and deadlines. Even though I'm exhausted because it's been non-stop, I have to say that each experience has been wonderful.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of going to my grandson's spring recital. Even though he didn't perform due to stage fright, we had such a great time and after the recital we all hung out.

My parents LOVE pictures so I asked them if they wanted some pictures taken. They were happy to pose for me!! They are so cute!!! Here are some of my favorites

As you all know, I am a PROUD jam-ma!

It didn't matter to me that Tanner didn't get on stage, I was going to be there for him period!

Afterwards, we congratulated him...he's so cute!

Isn't he just the cutest??? I just love this little guy!

On Friday, we celebrated Sierra's KIDS party!! We do this every year. Even though her birthday isn't until the 4th of July, it's really hard to get the little friends over then so we celebrate her kids party in June before school ends. Sierra was so happy to have her friends over. We went to Color me Mine. She had a blast!!!! After the party all the kids came over to play. It wasn't planned. I had a huge crop to go too, so Paul had the pleasure of watching them. LOL

I came home and he was ZONKED on the couch! LOL

I have a lot of fun things going on. I've been on the go every day but I know when it's all done, it will all be worth it!!! So keep in touch!!!!

Art Inspiring opening!!!!

Yesterday I had the great pleasure of attending the ART INSPIRED store opening!!!

I got out of the car...looked up....and got all choked up when I saw the beauty

of what was Patti and Diana's new store!!! WOW!!! The store is GORGEOUS!!

The girls got the building...worked extra hard...and opened their store in just ONE WEEK!

That's insane awesome!
