Punky Sprouts meets Jillibean Soup

The other day I got a wonderful package from Jill from Jillibean Soup!!
I absolutely fell in love with each and every piece of paper and embellishment that was in that package. I created most of this fun book at a National Scrapbook Day event that I was at and the rest I did at home.
I called it Moments that took my breath away and put pictures that I love a lot in it. I used the Savvy album by Punky Sprouts
Hope you like it.

Reflections--24 hours of crazy fun!

24 hours of fun!!
Friday morning I left the house at 8:30am to go to the Oakland airport.
I was thrilled about going on a 24 adventure with three special friends:
Shelly Mitchell
Daniela Costa
&
Sarah De Guzman

The three of us were going to do make n' takes and/or work a booth at the Reflections event.
We arrived around 11:30am and went to the garment district. It was a lot of fun in a small amount of time. We were then off to New Port beach and went straight to work as soon as we got there. It was a lot of fun hanging out with the girls and meeting so many fun scrappers!!
Here are some pictures of the event. I will have more pictures soon!!

Each book had these fun labels next to them. so cute!!
Daniela's fun Art Life Booth!! Lots of yummy goodness!!

Dare To Dream

The first time I laid my eyes on my niece Ashleigh, I knew there was something special about her. It wasn't just that she was cute and cuddly. It was the way she looked at me when I held her, it was as if she was studying my face and would occasionally give me a big smile. It was her personality.
I remember as a young girl she stood firm that she wanted to be a vegetarian.
I loved the way she had to help any animal that she saw on the street that was either hungry or hurt. The way she did what she wanted to do and be what she wanted to be.
I'm so proud of my niece. If she is reading this, I want her to know that I love her with all my heart! I don't get to see her very much now that she's getting older but she's always on my mind and always in my heart! I want her to know that no matter what...rain or shine...day or night...if you need me, I'll be there! I love you sweetie!

This is a book that I made of her last night.
I started this book at a crop yesterday and had so much fun working on it
I came home to finish it!!

I created the cover and then sealed it.

I forgot to bring my letter stickers so I freehanded the word DARE and then cut it out.
Again, I just wrote everything out and then filled some of the letters in with a different color pen.
Love this picture of her!!

I added these chipboard hearts around the page. I then adhered the acrylic page on top
of the chipboards making it 3D.
Love how this book came out. Thanks for looking!!

Getting ready for Reflections

This Friday I'm heading to New Port Beach. I'll be doing make n' takes at the Reflections event that Scrapbook Oasis is putting on.
I'm excited to be going with three awesome gals:
Shelly Mitchell, Daniela Costa, and Sarah De Guzman
We are first going to head out to the garment district in the morning and then
make n' take night in the evening.

Check out all the fun things I'm working with.

I was trying to take pictures of the product only and then Jeremy said I should be in the picture. LOL Since I look crazy ( I was out in the rain today) I didn't really want to be in it but Jeremy insisted. LOL
It'll be a pretty simple project since it's a make n' take for a 100 or so people
but I think it'll be fun!! Check out all that Jenni Bowlin and the fun canvas sheets by Punky Sprouts!!
You know I gotta throw in some awesome flowers by The Art life.
and we gotta mod podge. I'm misting all three hundred canvas sheets a head of time.
Looking forward to seeing a lot of friends and meeting new scrappers!!
Thanks for looking!

A journey full of memories

Last week I showed you guys some of the photos of my mom and I. Here's the project that I created to put the pictures in. I asked a lot of my facebook friends with help on my title, thanks! I saw this one and I liked it a lot because looking through these pictures brought back a ton of fun memories from our fun journey together.
I used Punky Sprouts-Punk n' circumstance album with October Afternoon products.
I love how it came out.
I cut up some of the pages of the chipboard so I could make smaller flip pages.
Love the cute flowers by The Art Life.
This is the back of the pages above.
As you can see, I used my favorite pen again for some journaling.
Love this picture of the two of us in front of these beautiful hills and flowers.
Love the bright journal tags and letters that October Afternoon has.

This is one of my most favorite pictures of my mom and I.
We had such a great day!
We got a little silly as you can see.
I was trying to get her calm since I knew we were going to go
snorkeling. She was so scared!!!
another crazy photo.
By the way...I ended up snorkeling...she didn't.
but that story is good for another day. LOL
Mexico was filled with lots of beautiful colors.
These were our favorite flowers.
Notice how I made my own lines for journaling. LOL
I used glossy accents to "accent" some of the words
Love this album. It's so fun to create with!!
Thanks for letting me share this with you.

Words can't express...

how much I love this woman!!!
I can honestly say that she is my best friend and that she is a true example of being kind, generous, and humble. Her first thoughts are always of her family and has raised my brothers and I to know that family comes first. I cherish and am grateful to her for that.

When I decided to close the store there were two things that I wanted to do. First was to take my family on a trip.
Second, was take my mommy on a cruise!! Just the two of us, to thank her for all the sacrifices she made so that I could have a store.

We had the best time ever!!
Here are just a few of my favorite pictures of our trip.

LOVE this picture!!!!

This is my favorite picture!!!! It brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it.
I love that beautiful face of hers!! What I love more...is that glorious smile!
Mommy, gracias por todo!
I love you!!!!
