checking in..

so it seems like forever ago since I posted last. I've been really busy at work and lots going on.

We have quite a few things happening.

*Debby Shuh is coming in a few weeks. We have tons of people attending.

* The Big Event is coming up REALLY SOON! So exciting!!

*We've had several classes here, including an almost all day event with Pattie.

*Angel's last day is THIS Friday. I'm super sad about this!

*Wei is moving to freaking Atlanta! Noone else can move! YUCK!

*Lots of store stuff.

Anyway, the last time I checked I told you about going to NKOTB concert. OMG it was the best concert I have ever attended!!! I have NEVER and I mean EVER screamed so freaking hard in my life. Like I think I seriously punctured something. LOL

I had the best time with my gal pal Rocio. It's been a dream of hers to attend since she was really young. It's been super exciting for me to attend since the last time I went to see them I was a youngin'!LOL

Am I excited??? OH YEAH BABY!!! I am so excited to be going with my pal, Rocio!!! She's gets me even more excited everytime I'm with her because she starts playing the songs and putting on the videos. The last time I went to their concert I was super young!! HOLY BANANA'S!! This time I'm a grandma!! Oh that's just plain scary!LOL

I'm back from Florida!!

I'm back from beautiful Florida! I had so much fun with my gal pal, Erin!! We arrived on Thursday early morning. We were sooooo tired that we checked in and took a nap until 9am. We then had breakfast and headed out to Magic Kingdom.. I liked it a lot but to be honest, I like DisneyLand more. It looked pretty much the same and set up the same.
Differences...
*No Indiana Jone's ride
*No Mattahorn
*No Nemo Ride
*Pirate of the carribean seemed smaller (no drop)
*It's a small world not as nice

On Friday we got up late, had breakfast, hung out, and then I taught my class at 3pm. It was a lot of fun!
After the class we hung out and watched a movie.
Saturday we went to Animal Kingdom. That place ROCKED!! Loved everything about it!!
We got up back with barely enough time to get a shower and head to the make n' take night.
Sunday we had had a booth like everyone else. We worked from 8:30am-4:30pm. It was really nice. I think Erin was excited because Jennifer came to sit with us. After the show we headed straight to the airport. I got home this morning at around 12:30am. I had to get up at 7am and since we have a time change, I got about 4 hours of sleep!LOL
Anyway, I went to work, picked up Sierr from school, and now I'm heading back to work.

By the way, I'm so proud of my girl Erin!!! I didn't know she didn't go on rides and she got on EVERYTHING!!! You go girl!!!!

Christian's back and someone's happy!

So as many of you know, Christian went to Guam to attend the funeral of his grandfather. He was very close to him since he and his grandma raised him. While he was away, Angel was so depressed. She couldn't sleep at night an she felt really lonely with out him.

Yesterday, Christian came home. He was on BART and Angel was waiting for him. While waiting she was on the phone with me and I could here the anxiety in her voice. The moment she saw him the words, " I see him" came out of her mouth. The tone of her voice changed so much and she immediately hung up with me. I saw her a few hours later and she was GLOWING with happiness. The three of them were. They looked so happy!!!

I grabbed my camera and took these pictures of Angel and Christian.

Thankful for the opportunities...

...that come my way. Yesterday, I was looking at pictures from different places I have taught and I felt so grateful to those that have given me opportunities to visit their state or country.
This particular picture of clouds made me feel so lucky. It was from my last trip to Brazil. I had been sleeping and the window was shut. I woke up and opened it and saw the rows of endless clouds and it was just beautiful!
I am thankful to those that have asked me to teach and to the man above who constantly reminds me that he loves me because, he created the beautiful things I see on this earth when I travel such as the clouds, mountains, and the ocean.
As I get ready to go on my last trip of the year (Florida), I look forward to sharing the beautiful view with one of my best friends, Erin!!

"I like your friends"

Sierra is so funny!! If she could, she would hang out with me and my girlfriends all the time. Unfortunately, we are at the store and she's at home or at her grandparents house so she doesn't get to hang out with them.

Yesterday, she came over for a little bit and I was there with Maria, Sylvia, and Jeanne. Sierra was hilarious, she was playing with Jeanne then asked her to write her name and phone number in her little note book.
A little while later Jeanne and I are talking and Jeanne gets a phone call. It's Sierra calling her from the front of the store. You can hear LOUD laughter from the front. She was having way to much fun!!

So later that night when she was out with daddy, I asked her how she was doing, she says, "Mommy I'm fine. You know what? I like your friends. When I grow up and own the store, they are going to work for me, but I'm going to give them Friday and Saturday off." LOL

She had told them earlier that day they could work for her as well. LOL She's such a funny kid.

Early this morning, around 2am she comes to my room half a sleep, "mommy can I sleep with you?" I told her okay. She just made her way between Paul and I and she just snuggled right in. SHe was in heaven. She's still out cold in my bed. LOL

I think I'll keep her. LOL

Getting ready to go to Florida!!

So today I was getting things ready for my next trip. I am teaching in Florida with Erin. I'm so excited!!! I will be teaching a small My Little Shoebox book. Here's what it looks like. It's very interactive and has a lot of dimension.

Anyway, I can't wait to spend some fun girl time with Erin!!! Can you imagine the two of us together in Florida? It's crazy!! LOL We have tickets to Disney World!! YIPPEE!!!

We are going to be two kids at the happiest place on earth.

I'm home!!!

I had a total blast in beautiful Brazil! There is no way I could ever explain how amazing this place is and how wonderful the people there are.

I loved both Sao Paulo and Rio. They are very different but both great!! I would like to thank my awesome friend Ana from AC ALBUM for taking me to her beautiful store and the expo. I had such an amazing time with her, Vicky (whom I think is one of the sweetest person on this planet), Fabriana, my Brazil grandma, and everyone else I met there.

I got to see her different stores and they are sooooo gorgeous!
Next year, I'm coming back and we have an amazing event we are planning!!!

Still in Brazil and LOVING it!!!

Hi there gals!!! I wanted to come in and say HI!!! I am in one of the most beautiful places on earth, RIO!!!!
I am having an amazing good time! I taught today from 9am to 9pm. It was a total blast!!
Hello to all my friends that I have met in both Sao Paulo and Rio!! You gals are amazing!
When I get home I will post pictures here and on the My Little Shoebox blog.
Tomorrow we are going to hang out and do some fun things and then I´m heading home.

I can´t wait to see all my buddies when I get home.
Let´s see if my mechanics read my blog...I emailed you gals about something big....did you read it? if so....guess what? I´m just kidding!LOL I´m sooooooo bad!LOL

I have sad news, Christian´s grandfather passed away. We are so sad. Please pray for his family.

Checking in from Brazil

HI there everyone. I am checking in from beautiful Brazil. I have been staying at this beautiful hotel with amazing food in Sao Paulo. It is one of the largest cities I have ever seen.
The people are very beautiful here. the woman are tall and thin with these great butts and the men are freaking hot!!! LOL
anyway, I am having a great time and they are treating me very well.
I will try to post more later. I have a lot of stories.

Scrapbook Memories TV

So it looks like I'm heading out to Ohio in October. Helen and I were going to do a taping of Scrapbook Memories TV in what I think we both thought early November but it turns out it's going to be in the middle of October.
Helen was going to be taping while I do the behind the scenes stuff but Helen has another important trip so I'll be doing the taping. I haven't done any filming for a while so let's hope I do okay. LOL
I'm going for just one day so it doesn't take to much away from work. I'm leaving on the 13th and taking Pattie with me. She'll be awesome helping me with all the behind the scene stuff.
I'll keep you guys posted on how it goes. Wish me luck please, I think I'm going to need it! LOL

updates on Sierra

So it's been a pretty crazy week with the West family.
As you know Sierra hurt her arm. Well yesterday I got up early to take Sierra to the dr.'s. They were going to put a cast on her arm.
We got in the car and we were talking and she says, "Mommy, I think I'm going to throw up". I look back at her and she was YELLOW. Her skin starts turning yellow quite often because she has hereditary spherocytosis . Most of the time she's okay, but there have been times when it's NOT, and this was one of them. I looked at her and her eyes were looking really droopy, which I immediately knew she was about to pass out.
I get her out of the car and we take a few steps and sure enough, she got sick and her body got heavy because she was ready to pass out.
I got her in the dr.'s office and tell the receptionist that we have an appointment for one thing but need to see a dr. NOW because of what was going on and what she has. She took one look at her and knew she was in bad shape. She asks me to stand to the side for a second. On a loud speaker I hear, "We have a CODE 5 in the lobby" and almost immediately we had EVERY pediatrician and nurse flying out the doors. Scared the daylights out of me.
They take her to the back and Sierra was shaking really heavily and was looking really bad.
They did blood work and stayed with her til' she was feeling better. She was there for a while. She is all better now but boy did she scare me! The last time she was like this she was about to get a blood transfusion.

Poor Sierra fractured her arm yesterday

Yesterday I got a phone call from school that Sierra had fallen while playing PE. Paul picked her up as I was alone at work and took her to my parents house. Sierra said she was okay and that her arm didn't really hurt that much. Later on she started to complain. Paul checked her again and decided to take her to urgent care. It turned out that she fractured her arm. They didn't have anyone to cast it so they wrapped it and put it in a splint. I'm taking her this morning to get her cast on. My poor little one.

In the blink of an eye...

Everything is happening so fast.

I swear it feels like Angel just told me she was expecting again and yet....her baby shower is this Sunday and she's 31 weeks!

Sierra talked to me about getting a dog...we told her she could when she was older and well yeah....she has a dog.

Jeremy was starting school...but omg I wasn't ready for HIGH SCHOOL.

I blinked and everything happened so fast!

No more blinking! :)

So you know your losing it when...

you totally space out and don't realize until...
two days ago that you have TWO HUGE TRIPS that you are going on a week from one another.
So I knew that I was leaving for Brazil in a week. What I didn't realize was that my trip in October was just...well...a week after I get back! I'm teaching in Orlando as well. This is madness!! I guess I better get to work on the next projects!LOL
So here's the scoop:

I'll be in Brazil from the 15th-24th---teaching at the expo being held in Sao Paulo and then traveling to Rio to teach there.

Exactly a week later I'll be in Orlando with Erin teaching at the Fred Hill/Sue Gilman Show. While there, we are going to Disney World!! I can't wait!!!!

I believe we are going to Ohio in November for another filming of Scrapbook Memories TV.

In January we are going to CHA, Anaheim.

Oh and Rocio and I are booking a CRUISE to Mexico in February for my birthday!!!

So it's a good thing I'm not traveling as much anymore! LOL

Lots going on...

So as you know I've been really busy lately.
*Teaching in Brazil on the 15th
*Angel's baby shower on 14th
*Anniversary crops on 20th-21st
*Lots of classes
*MLS stuff
*kids going back to school
*The big Event

yeah, tons of crazy good stuff. So, I learned something the other day and it has me a little emotional and nervous. I'm trying to stay positive until we get the results but it's hard.

My mom has been complaining about pain by her tummy. It's been going on for a while. She had some tests done and they found that everything in that area was just fine. While checking they found a little tumor on her lung. They told her not to worry until they do more testing but it has her really nervous!
My mom is such an amazing woman and the last thing she wants to do is worry anyone so she didn't want to tell me, but we were together on Labor Day and ran some errands and she started to cry. I asked her what was wrong and she told me about the tumor. We talked about trying to stay positive until we know anything but I could see in her eyes that she was scared.

I'm trying to stay positive but the thought of something happening to my mom scares me. I'm really selfish and want her in my life forever! She is my rock and I love her more than life it's self. So please pray for my mom.

I'm also a little emotional because Angel's going to be leaving work soon. She's going to stop working the middle of October. She's due in November. Her due date is the 17th but the dr.'s don't think she will last that long. She can't deliver a baby that weighs more than 7lbs so they think they will induce a little early. I'm going to be busy!!! LOL

So much going on!! Anyway, that's what's up with me right now. Never a dull moment. LOL

So I've been doing a litte bit of scrapping

I've scrapped about 4-5 in the last two weeks. That's a lot for me you know. LOL

I have quite a few up on the walls of my store so I don't want to get them down but here are two that I recently did.

This is one that I made last night using the NEW Scenic Route line. I love this line. I love this picture. It was Erin and I at 49er game. We had such a great time that day laughing, snorting, clapping, cheering, wel just being us!LOL We were totally emotional to because it was our Friend and football player Bryant Young's last game.

This is one that I did last week. It's using NEW My little shoebox . Pictures of one of my most favorite girls nigt. The four of us went to see John Mayor. He freaking ROCKED!!! We were in the grass area and under the stars. It was so awesome!!! I'm scrapping some of my favorite photos this weekend. Will try to post if I remember. LOL

Filled with so many emotions because...

my two little pumpkins went back to school today.

Jeremy started High School this morning. Yes, HIGH SCHOOL!! I am officially a dinosaur. Wait, I turned into a dinosaur when I became a grandma. I'm officially older than the dirt that the dinosaurs walked on.

This little beauty (as my dad calls her..okay just made my heart full thinking of my daddy)

started 2nd grade. She was more than thrilled and actually wanted pictures. LOL

She is in class with a lot of her friends so she is HAPPY!!! She also has TWO teachers!! Yup, two. So thrilled she's in that class.

Busy busy fun weekend!

I had a really fun and busy weekend!!! I think I've slept a total of 10 hours from Thursday to yesterday. eeek!

Friday we had a great time during our crop. We had a lot of fun!! Rocio and I then got the place ready for our garage Sale.
Saturday morning I got to work at 8:30am and finished getting things ready. We had our garage sale from 10am-2pm. We worked until 8pm. My Angel, Web Angel, Angela, and I went to La Fondue and met Erin there. We had a great time!!!

On Sunday morning I picked up Michelle Van Etten from San Jose and she came and taught two classes at our store. They were beautiful!!!!
After the class, Satyn, Rocio, Michelle and I went to La Fondue AGAIN and we ate up a Storm!! OMG I was still full from the night before. LOL
I dropped off Michelle after midnight and then picked her up at 5ish AM and took her to the airport.

I came home and was going to go back to bed but decided to finish what I needed to finish and then we got ready and had a bbq at my parents house. Everyone was there. We had a great time!
We were there until around 8pm last night. Came home. I made brownies. I cleaned the kitchen. Watched part of Will and Grace and fell a sleep!LOL
