Welcome back...

WOW, It's been a long long long time since I blogged! I've been really busy so I apologize for not updating for a long time.
I have a lot going on and I want to tell you about a few!!

This weekend I'll be at It's All About the Scrapbooks in Dixon, Ca.
May 2-3rd I'll be at Ever After Scrapbooks in Vista, Ca
May 9-10th I'll be at Treasured Memories in Oak Park, Ca
May 16-18th I'll be in Fallbrook, Ca for the Picture This Boutique & Retreats event
May 30-31st I'll be at The Making Place in Escondido, Ca

I'll post June's events in my next post. I have a lot of fun places I'm visiting then too!!!

I want to tell you about an exciting event that I'm doing! Prima contacted me and asked me if I would do an event and I gladly accepted. :) I'm having fun planning this event.
I asked my friends at Picture This Boutique & Retreats to join me and sell at that event. I'll be inviting different stores to sell at different events I do. :)

Oh Snap!!! I'm picturing a blog post with lots of pics!

I'm sitting in really warm Elk Grove where I'm visiting my good friend, Gina Lideros. We are having a blast!!!
I want to tell ya about my time here but I gotta tell you about the last two weeks.
I got home on Monday from a fantastic trip to southern California. I had such a great time! My friend, Sherry Mendoza put together an event called, Camp Mojo and it was a blast! I taught classes at Stamping Details during the day and scrapped with friends at night. Before we went to the location we decided to take pictures because we all happen to match. There were sunflowers in a vase and we just popped them out and had a field day! LOL Here are a few of the pics.

 

I got home on Monday and headed to Elk Grove with Sierra on Wednesday night. We've been here this entire time! We are having such an amazing time!!!

Every time Gina and I get together we do the following:

Eat at Chick-fil-a and Chevys. We go to Leatherbys for ice cream. We go to Michaels, Joanns, and Target. We go to Homegoods and pass by Starbucks.

NOW....we are going to add Reflexology to the mix! I'm so happy!!!

 

Since I've been here, I've done three photo shoots!!!!

You've gotta have some fun!! (picture heavy)

I' home for the next few weeks...I love being with my family and friends so I've planned a lot of fun things but I plan on being at home too. I just got home from spending a day in Sacramento with Gina. Had a lot of fun!!! Started making this canvas. This is a sneak peak.

 

I'm lucky to go to stores that know how crazy and wild I am and play along with me. I'm certainly not quiet...microphones not needed. LOL

I wanted to post some fun pictures from my last two trips. I visited Scrapbooks with Treasured Memories and Ever After Scrapbooks. Both stores are great!!! It was my first time at TM in Louisiana. Had a blast!! You already know how much I love the girls at EA! Been there many times.

These pictures are three of my favorite from TM!!! OMG Can you tell how much fun we had? LOL We totally laughed a lot!!!

This picture was taken at Lazy Lucy!! Had fun with these girls!!!

This next picture were from Ever After Scrapbooks. We had a trunk show, demo day, and classes!

Loved my night with all the girls for Debi's birthday!! Wish Janelly was in this picture!

This is just a fun picture I took after teaching a class at EA. Love knowing that my students got to play!!

Last...love this cart that I bought. It holds so much!! As you can see with my stash of sprays and paints.

Obsessed...with the Jodi Arias case!

I think I have an addictive personality! LOL Once I get involved with something or find something that I like...I have to have more of it. Sheesh! I think I need a life! LOL
I've watched big trials before...
*OJ Simpson...watched and even visited the house of his ex-wife that he murdered...in MY defense...I was on a vacation and we got lost...and followed a whole bunch of cars down a street because of a detour...we ended up stopping when we saw all the cars and people. It was his wife's house and "the tape" was surrounding the whole area. It was crazy! I have pictures that I scrapped a long time ago.
*Scott Peterson...that was such a sad case. I got involved because I had a friend that knew Lacey and said she was such a good person. When I found out she was very pregnant I couldn't believe it.
*Casey Anthony...This case upset me so much!! The thought that anyone could hurt an innocent child all so she could party with friends...omg!! awful!
Out of these three cases...only one was convicted and that was just gross to me!
This new case with Jodi Arias is soooo beyond awful! What she did to this guy is GROSS!!
So I've been watching everyday that it's on. I watch as I wash dishes, kit my classes, and even in the shower! LOL

I'm in southern Ca getting ready to teach at Ever After Scrapbooks!! While I was going through security at the airport guess what I was doing?

My FAVORITE thing about the case is chatting on facebook with friends (new and old). I start a daily Jodi Arias case. I want to thank Gina, Carol, Kim, Betty, Tori, and everyone else that comes in to join in on the daily chat!!! It's so fun!!!! The word I use a lot on there is "BAM!" LOL I say it every time something good happens! LOL Yes, I have issues. LOL
Okay so now that you know my new crazy....if you are watching the case...what do you think? What are your thoughts? Would love to hear!!

Travel, teaching, and a new project

Hi everyone!!! It's a beautiful day in northern CA. I am feeling so grateful for the beautiful sky that I saw when I walked out my door this morning. It was also nice to feel the suns rays hitting my shoulders. LOVE!!! This week I'm grateful for my health. I recently made a decision to work out. I've been out of shape for way too long. I've been amazed at how great I feel after a good work out. I have more energy, I feel good, and I'm motivated to try new things and eat better. I wanted to show you some fun pictures of one of my last trip. This is a picture of Camille, Elizabeth, and I. We had such a great night!!!

Class is in session....

Hi there peeps!! Guess where I'm at right now? I'll give you a hint...I got on a train to get here. If you guessed...Gina Lidero's house, you are right! I'm here getting assignments done using WOW Embossing Powders. I've been on create and kit mode. Here's what's up. I'm teaching at Ever After Scrapbooks in Vista, Ca in two weeks. Helping to raise funds & awareness to end breast cancer

I LOVE my "job!". I enjoy traveling, teaching, and having fun with all my scrappy friends. Each event is memorable to me but I'm going to be honest...there is ONE event that means more to me than any other event I am a part of. I get emotional just thinking about it.

The event I love is called Survivor crop and is put on by Ever After Scrapbooks in Vista, Ca. Survivor Crop is a 24 hour crafting event that takes place in October every year and raises money for the San Diego Affiliate of Komen for the Cure. The people that help with this event are simply amazing! They donate tons of hours, money, and love to make Survivor happen! All the girls that attend the fundraising crop work hard for MONTHS collecting tons of money to donate. My favorite part is at midnight when they announce how much money was raised! Everyone dances, cheers, and hugs!! Some of US cry over the overwhelming emotion we feel!!! If you are in the area, PLEASE come and donate!!! I leave for the event this Thursday to donate time, do the make n' take, teach (one Basically Bare and 2 flower classes), and hang out with everyone!!!! Have a wonderful week!Hugs,Suzy West
